In today’s sermon, Pastor McShaffrey challenged Christians to read the Holy Bible cover-to-cover in a year’s time.
Countless people have accomplished this and it is not that complicated.
One of the easiest methods is simply to read four chapters per day. You will be finished in less than year.
There are also more structured options for those who like to check boxes. See below.
Whichever plan you choose, just stick with it. The method is not as important as the main goal: Knowing God’s Word
The M’Cheyne Method (offers a daily variety of genre)
The Five Day Method (gives you the weekend off)
The Variety Method (i.e., more variety than the M’Cheyne plan)
Chronological Method (follows the history of events)
Cover-to-cover Method (no frills, just read straight through)
Alternating Approach (readings from OT and NT each day)
Note: If you have a proven plan that we should include, please let us know and we will add it to the list.
