While all scripture is given by inspiration of God, there seems to be something special about Paul’s epistle to the Romans. Consider these words from Martin Luther:
“This letter is truly the most important piece in the New Testament. It is purest Gospel. It is well worth a Christian’s while not only to memorize it word for word but also to occupy himself with it daily, as though it were the daily bread of the soul.”
You may not be able to memorize it word-for-word, but we do invite you to come study it verse-by-verse during our midweek meeting. We meet at the Pastor’s house, but if anyone would like to host in their home for a month, we will rotate locations.
