As Thanksgiving Day approaches, it is good to be reminded not only of our individual calling to give thanks always and for all things (Ephesians 5:20), but also of our corporate calling to help one another enjoy a heart of gratitude.
One way we can do this is described in Colossians 3:16, “Teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord.”
Join us on November 27 at 6:00 pm as we (in conjunction with 89.5 – WCNP FM) host a Thanksgiving Eve Service of Praise and Personal Testimony.
Come ready to express your thanksgiving to God in song as we sing together the classic hymns of the faith and through spoken word as we share together the things for which we are personally grateful (parents may wish to work with their children in advance so they too can participate).
The service will be be held at the church and all are welcome to bring a light refreshment to share afterwards.
