How Do We Redeem Christmas?

Pastor’s preaching text was Ephesians 5:15-17, See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

2011 Sermon Series

After Paul successfully planted a Christian church in the city of Corinth, he moved on to his next mission field in Ephesus.

While laboring there, he heard that the corruption of Corinthian culture had so influenced the church that its testimony had been compromised and its future as a congregation was uncertain. So he wrote them a letter.

Our modern culture is not unlike that of ancient Corinth and Pastor Christian McShaffrey preached this series to help the modern church avoid the cultural and ecclesiastical dysfunction which is described in 1 Corinthians.
