News – April 2004

Having been called by our church, and examined by the Presbytery, Mr. McShaffrey was ordained and installed as the Organizing Pastor (aka Evangelist) of our church through the laying on of hands by the Presbytery.

We held a joint-congregational meeting between our congregation and that of Bethel OPC to approve the recommendation we received from the Presbytery’s committee on Church Extension to call Mr. McShaffrey as our Organizing Pastor.

The vote passed unanimously and we rejoiced in God’s faithfulness to provide a shepherd for our flock.

These lectures on Christian Modesty were delivered by Bill Shisko who serves as pastor of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Franklin Square, on Long Island, in New York. We thank Mr. Shishko for permission to use these recordings.
