Caroling

News – December 2004

Several members of the church went door to spread the good news of the gospel in our community by caroling outside the entrance of a local super market and distributing tracts.

Afterward, they met at the McShaffrey home to warm themselves around the fire and to enjoy their fellowship in Christ.

Congregational Meeting

Sunday, November 21st, 2004

News – November 2004

Two significant items were discussed and decided at our annual congregational meeting:

1. The proposed church budget for 2005 was approved as presented (noting and rejoicing in God’s continued faithfulness to provide for our needs).

2. Our radio ministry “Psalm for the Sabbath” will be suspended, digital recording equipment will be purchased by the church, and Pastor McShaffrey will begin to work toward enhancing our outreach via radio.

Faith Without Votes

News – October 2004

Our church (with participation from two other local pastors) held a community conference entitled “Faith without Votes is Dead” at the Cal Center in Reedsburg.

The event was well attended as God’s people were equipped and challenged through a multimedia presentation and pastoral exhortations to cast their vote this coming Tuesday with a biblically-informed conscience.

Life Chain

Several members of our church participated in the annual Life Chain event on Main Street in Reedsburg.

Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful, and public witness of pro-life Americans who stand together for one hour asking God to have mercy upon our nation and to end abortion.

The Master’s Touch

Our church family and friends gathered for a night of entertainment at “The Master’s Touch.”

This program was organized by one of our members and people or all ages participated through performing musical numbers, singing, dramatic presentations, and artistic displays.
