Bethel OPC (Oostburg, WI) assumed oversight of our mission work and arranged for regular pulpit supply (relying primarily upon presbyters and students from Mid America Reformed Seminary).

Our First Building

News – April 2000

Our mission work rented its first official meeting place in which we began meeting for morning and evening worship on the Lord’s Day.

It was a 1000 square foot office space at 257 Second Street in Reedsburg that accommodated a 30-seat worship room, nursery, refreshment area, and children’s Sunday School room.

We Become a Mission Work

News – March 2000

The group of families meeting in Reedsburg was officially separated from the church in Madison and approved as a mission work by act of the Presbytery.

The session of Menomonee Falls OPC (Menomonee Falls, WI) was appointed to govern and provide oversight of our young church.

Three men who felt they had been called to serve as elders also began to receive training from the session.

Life is full of questions. Some are trivial, some more serious — and some tremendously important. Even as you read these words you may have questions about your health, your financial situation, your job, your family or your future.

But the greatest, the ultimate questions, are about God and your relationship to him. Nothing in life is more important than this. Good health, financial stability, secure employment, a contented family and a hopeful future are all things that people want. Yet even these are temporary and eventually pointless unless you have a living relationship with God, one that is clear and certain — and will last for ever.
