Pastor McShaffrey helped our church commemorate the tenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks by preaching the following sermon on Psalm 2:
Our government has asked its citizens “To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to Taps” on Memorial Day.
Pastor McShaffrey preached this sermon on the Lord’s Day of May 30, 2010 in order to teach the saints how to regard and respond to this request.
Do you feel at home in this world?
Far too many Christians do… and they really need to consider how the saints of old felt while living their lives in such a strange land.
Pastor McShaffrey preached this sermon in preparation for our next sermon series on First Peter and we invite you to join us for worship over the next several weeks as we continue on this theme.
“O Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations….”
This sermon was preached in preparation for the new year by Pastor McShaffrey.
An Old Song for a New Year (Psalm 90)
This song was written by Elder Baldridge as a hymn of application for the sermon he will be delivering this coming Lord’s Day.
Please familiarize yourself with it in advance; that we might sing Christ’s worthy praise in a skillful manner (Psalm 33:3).
