Pastor McShaffrey helped our church commemorate the tenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks by preaching the following sermon on Psalm 2:
This sermon was preached by Pastor McShaffrey on the importance of affirming and defending the doctrine of the resurrection of Christ and its implications for the Christian: 2 Timothy 2:11-19
Every year at this time worship attendance tends to increase exponentially in most churches.
Pastor Christian McShaffrey preached this sermon to encourage occasional worshipers to reevaluate their view of worship and to exhort orthodox worshipers to reengage in the ministry of outreach.

When it comes to the Book of Revelation, most Christians seem to fall into two categories: Those who are obsessed with it and those who avoid it.
Those who are obsessed with this book read it as if it were a crystal ball and this leads to all sorts of strange interpretations and applications.
Those who avoid the book tend to live far more normal lives than the apocalypticly obsessed, but are actually missing many blessings.

The Apostle Paul wrote these words to the saints of Galatia:
“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.” (Galatians 4:4-5)
These sermons were preached by Pastor McShaffrey during the advent season of 2010.
