Foxe’s Book of Martyrs
Wednesday, May 18th, 2011
John Foxe (1518-1587) wrote the “Actes and Monuments of these Latter and Perillous Days, Touching Matters of the Church” in 1563 as a testimony to the faith of Christians and as a testimony against the ferocity of the Antichrist.
Being one of the most eye-opening and influential books in protestantism, it has been re-printed and read in every generation.
The following edition of “Foxe’s Book of Martyrs” was edited by William Byron Forbush.
Pastor McShaffrey included a table of contents with hyper-links, reformatted some of the text, and modernized some spelling for your online reading convenience.
