The month of December is not only a wonderful time for enjoying family and friends, but it is also an important time to remember others.
Some are spending the holiday season alone and some are even spending it without God.
We therefore encourage all to remember to do the work of ministry this month by participating in the following events:
December 11
Our Family Advent Program consists of skits, readings, and musical numbers prepared by members of the church. It begins at 1:45 pm and all are welcomed to participate.
December 14
We plan to participate in the Reedsburg living window event on Main Street by singing carols between 6 and 8:00 pm. This will be a good opportunity for outreach and evangelism.
December 18
We will visit the Sauk County Health Care Center at 3:15 pm to sing for the residents and spend time visiting with them. Children might also consider making crafts or gifts for the residents.
December 25
We will sanctify the Lord’s Day by worshiping God in spirit and truth. Consider inviting someone to join us. Remember that this is the one day of the year than many might consider it.
Note: If you have an idea for community outreach, please contact Pastor McShaffrey and he will include it on our church calendar/bulletin.
