Sandy was born on Sunday morning, March 18, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Edwin and Margaret (Boleen) Erickson. Rod Clark fell in love with Sandy the first time he saw her in the eighth grade. They were married on August 30, 1974 at Faith Baptist Church in Marshfield, WI and remained faithful to one another unto death.

Sandy had a servant’s heart and demonstrated her love for Christ and his sheep through a variety of ways: Teaching, interpreting, signing for the deaf, singing in choir, and always opening her home as a center for fellowship and ministry. She was a great help-meet to her husband and a most loving mother.

Survivors include her husband Rod and daughter Jeaneen of Baraboo, WI; her son Nathan (Heidi) of Seattle, WA; her mother Margaret of Mauston, WI; her siblings Edwin (Nancy) of Marshfield, WI; Daryl (Veronica) of Mauston, WI, Mark of Mauston, WI, and Linda of Lyndon Station, WI.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father Edwin; her infant son Aaron; and her grandparents Edwin and Emma Erickson; and Paul and Verbina Boleen.

Sandy’s only comfort in life and in death was this: That she was not her own, but belonged unto her faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.

Memorial contributions in honor of Sandy may be made to her church: Grace Reformed Church, 148 N. Park St., Reedsburg, WI 53959 / (608) 524-5856.
