There are many who agree with the pro-life position but who have never participated in a pro-life event and I think I know at least one of the reasons why: Those who seek to follow the Master by cultivating a meek and peace-making spirit are usually not interested in confrontations (which is what many pro-life events feel like).
While there may be a time and place for preaching through a megaphone and for publicly displaying graphic images of mutilated children, there is also a time and place for a more modest and polite engagement of our culture.
That is what the annual Life Chain seeks to offer: A peaceful, prayerful, and polite witness against abortion.
At the Life Chain event, there is no preaching (we are not even supposed to talk to each other during the event) and there are no graphic images (only pre-approved text-based signs are permitted). All you will find there is this: A group of concerned citizens whose hearts are broken over all the precious lives which are being lost through abortion (i.e., over 3,000 per day in the USA).
Please consider joining us this year on October 5 at 1:00 p.m. as we stand together for life on the corner of HWY 33 and Cty. Rd. H.
