Zechariah M. was received today as a communicant member of our church upon his personal and public profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Like most covenant children, Zechariah grew up in the church and sat under the preaching of God’s word weekly for 10 years. Last week in worship he personally realized his need for Christ and repented unto salvation.
We pray for this saving grace to be realized in each of our children’s lives and rejoice every time God proves his promise to be true: “I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant…” (Genesis 17:7).
